Detailed Description: End-to-end master data setup is a complicated task requiring a significant amount of time and expertise. As the product structure becomes more complex, the setup time increases and the possibility for errors increases, as well. This application is a real-time, ECC-based tool that allows a user to edit and create a complete master data set (Materials, BOMs, Routings, Production Versions, Standard Text, and CMIRs) for any multi-level product in a user-friendly interface. The interface consists of the following four dependent views on a single screen: Product Structure View, Material View, Routing View, and BOM View. The advantage of this tool over every other master data tool on the market is that all of the data is displayed in a single screen and that a change to one object is immediately reflected in the information on the dependent views. For example, if a material is added to a product structure as a component, the newly added material immediately shows up in the material view and the BOM view. Through the application configuration, the fields displayed in each view are defined, thus eliminating the non-essential fields. Reducing the dependent views to only the relevant fields, makes the process of editing and reviewing the data substantially quicker. Prior to posting the new objects using standard SAP BAPI’s, 90 validation checks are executed to ensure that the information will properly post. The initial application configuration should take less than 2 days. The asset includes separate create and change transactions, as well as an audit report.
